Sarah Lubbock started silversmithing in 2002. It wasn’t until 2010, whilst living in Florence, that she was able to fully pursue & develop her passion for creating unique pieces of art under the tutelage of two world renowned Florentine jewellers. The instruction they provided was wide-ranging and comprehensive. Aside from basic metalsmithing, she worked with resin, various types of wax-casting, some traditional Italian goldsmith techniques and spent time in their workshop in Florence over five years observing and collaborating with them. She also had the chance to undertake a number of courses in a well-known Jewellery school in London.
Sarah’s goal is to create unique pieces which make a statement. Classic, simple pieces which can be worn for any occasion; making the wearer feel comfortable with a piece that stands out, but not too much. She loves creating and especially enjoys consulting with clients to come up with a piece that is perfect for them. For this reason, there are many pieces of Sarah Lubbock Designs that are truly one of a kind.
